Today, I'm sharing a collection of beauty products I've been using consistently for the better part of the summer. My go-to look was glowy, bronzed skin with simple, neutral eyes and a pink lip. To see what I was loving the first part of the summer, check out my Current Beauty Obsessions, Vol. 3. And to learn more about what I've been using recently, read on!
- Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Sultry + MAC Angel: MAC Angel has been on my lips all summer, and I've recently amped it up by pairing it with Revlon's Sultry. I put Sultry on the outer corners of my lips and place Angel in middle for a glossy pop of pink. For me, this makes a bright pink like Angel more flattering and wearable. - Too Faced La Creme Lipstick in Nude Beach + Milani Color Statement Lipliner in Nude: The second combo I've been loving is a peachy nude. I line my lips with Milani's Nude and then fill in the entire lip with Nude Beach. Nude Beach has a glossy finish and pairs perfectly with a tan. [Link to purchase Nude Beach | Link to purchase Nude]
- Urban Decay Naked Palette: This may be hard to believe, but I only started regularly using my Naked palette this July. I've had it for about three years and never touched it because I didn't think it suited my skin tone. Well, of course, I was terribly, terribly wrong. The shadows in this palette have the most gorgeous shimmery finish. I love that the shades are understated enough to be appropriate for day to day wear. [Link to purchase]
- Essie Sunset Sneaks: I have a rather large nail polish collection, so it's very rare for me to use the same polish color more than once over the course of a few months. This vibrant red-orange from Essie has lived on my nails and toes this summer, so it deserves a shoutout. Sunset Sneaks is from Essie's Summer 2015 Collection, so if you like this shade make sure to get it before it's gone! [Link to review | Link to purchase]
- Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara: This is a lengthening mascara that pairs perfectly with a simple, neutral eyeshadow look. I've been using the Smokey Eye Mascara almost exclusively this summer, and I'm planning on repurchasing it as soon as it dries out. I like this because it gives the lashes fullness and definition without looking overly dramatic or spider-y. [Link to review | Link to purchase]
- theBalm Cindy-Lou Manizer: Mary-Lou's lesser known sister is a soft pink highlight with subtle rose gold shimmer. Cindy-Lou is much less intense than Mary-Lou. On my skin, Cindy Lou gives a gorgeous natural glow. I think this is one of the most underrated products in the beauty community. [Link to review | Link to purchase]
- theBalm Balm Desert: This is a blush/bronzer that I use exclusively as a blush. It is a rosy brown with strong pink undertones. I love that wearing this makes me look that I've been sunbathing all day (even though I've probably been stuck behind a computer working). I pair this with Cindy-Lou Manizer to get the perfect, natural summer glow. [Link to review | Link to purchase]
- theBalm Time Balm Face Primer: Wow, I didn't realize how many products from theBalm I've been using this summer! I love this primer because it keeps my skin from getting overly oily, but it is very lightweight and doesn't clog my pores. Even though I still have more than half of my tube left (a little goes a long way!), I'm already planning on repurchasing. [Link to review | Link to purchase]
- L'Oreal True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup: This is the only foundation I've used for the past two months. True Match Lumi has medium coverage and a dewy finish. It has a hydrating formula and is infused with vitamins. I really love the way this looks on my skin, and I like that it has skin-friendly ingredients to keep me blemish-free. [Link to review | Link to purchase]
- Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder: I know that the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder has been popular in the beauty community for years, and I finally understand why. This product gives an almost airbrushed effect and keeps oils at bay all day. I truly think this is just as good as similar high end powders I've used, and only costs $4.99! This powder is now holy grail status in my collection. [Link to purchase]
- Clinique All About Eyes: Hang on tight, I promise we're almost finished! I didn't realize how many products I'd amassed. I need to start doing these more frequently. A major thank you if you're still reading! On to the product, I love this eye cream because it has a cooling, gel-like texture that helps me look and feel more awake in the mornings. It's hydrating and calms puffiness and dark circles under the eyes. [Link to purchase]
- theBalm Coconut Milk Cleansing Face Cream: And finally, this is a daily face wash infused with soothing coconut milk and white tea extract. It feels very calming on this skin and the scent is divine. I recently finished this bottle, and am planning on restocking very soon! [Link to review | Link to purchase]
I can see why you have been wearing that Essie polish all summer, it's such a pretty shade!

Gotta love the original UD Naked Palette right? It's just such a classic and all of the shades are wearable. I definitely get a lot of wear out of the neutral shades, for work they give the perfect neutral not to fussy eye look. BTW I've nominated you for a Liebster award. The link to this is below. No worries if you don't take part, but just thought I'd share the love. It's entirely your choice xx
