On a recent trip to Sephora, I foolishly walked past the NARS counter and was completely sucked in by the gorgeous blushes on display. I thought I would be able to take a quick glance and move on, but I was obviously very wrong. Once I found Lovejoy, I knew it was coming home with me. Keep reading for product details!
NARS Lovejoy is described as a "shimmering bronzed rose." This description is basically on point. The blush is a deep rose, almost red, with bronze undertones and gold shimmer. Lovejoy simulates a rosy suntan. My skin has pink undertones and when applied, this blush looks like I have a healthy summer glow. This is definitely a warm weather blush. If your skin has yellow or neutral undertones, Lovejoy may give the appearance of having sunburned, as opposed to sunkissed, cheeks. I recommend testing this product in store before purchasing.
Lovejoy is extremely pigmented - I barely touched my blush brush to the powder and had a beautiful wash of color on my cheeks. The powder is very finely milled and easy to blend. Even though I'm careful to not apply too much product, if I happen to overpowder, it is extremely easy to blend the blush away to a nice, natural flush.
NARS Lovejoy retails for $30, and can be purchased here. Each blush contains .16 oz. of product.
Have you picked up anything from Sephora recently?
Love NARS blushes! They are SO pigmented, totally worth spending the $$!
