016. | OPI Going My Way or Norway?

OPI Going My Way or Norway? was released with the Nordic Nail Lacquer Collection. I picked this up a few months ago, and just recently tried it for the first time. The consistency of this polish is a dream. It is creamy, smooth, and thick, but also easy to evenly coat over the nail. The formulation of this polish is one of the bests I've come across in the OPI brand.

The camel color is a sophisticated way to wear a neutral nail. It applies almost exactly as it looks in the bottle. The photo above is a two coat application.

Like most OPI collections, the Nordic Nail Lacquer Collection is still being sold in stores, even though it was released quite some time ago. Ulta's website has the full collection available for purchase. OPI polishes retail for $9.50 and can be purchased here.

As I've gotten older, I've stopped collecting multiple bottles of mid-range perfumes that I only somewhat liked, and have invested in one signature scent. For me, having one, high quality perfume that I always reach for is my favorite way to wear fragrance. I never have to worry about scents clashing or having expensive perfumes expire, from having sat around for too long. Plus, I like that people I'm often around identify one particular fragrance with me. And that fragrance is Chanel Allure Eau de Toilette.

013. | A Petite MAC Lip Haul

This probably hasn't been apparent on my blog so far, but lip products are my absolute favorite beauty items. I'm afraid I have close to one hundred lip products, and counting. Despite the absurdity of that, I stopped by my local MAC store a few weeks ago to pick up a replacement of my favorite lipstick, Viva Glam V. I've been through three of them so far, and I still can't get enough. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the lipstick, but I was talked into purchasing two other items while I was there.
